Do not buy this if you're expecting it to work in the US without an adapter. It has a European / Asian plug and does not come with an adapter for US outlets. Plus, mine arrived split in two exposing the internal components. You can tell it was meant to snap together but it won't. It will need to be superglued together to be useable. I could probably ask for a replacement but there's no point since it won't work in the US without a socket adapter... be warned.
