Works great for me. I don't know how they aim those phasers in Star Trek accurately. The Wii-mote snaps in clean and game play is great.

Warning : the A button isn't reachable when you use the gun. So it makes this gun useless in games like Resident Evil 4, where you enter aim mode using B and fire with A (and this can't be changed in the game afaik). In fact, if you want to hold the gun like a real gun, you can only use the nunchuck and the 'B' button (so, in RE4, no easy access to inventory, etc).
